Hi new here. Just got a 2009 Ford Flex about two weeks ago. So I noticed my muffler is hanging a little lower (a couple inches) than it was before, I looked underneath and the hangers still look good but I’ve read that sometimes the rubber hangers can stretch out over time. How can I tell if they need to actually be replaced? Is there a way to adjust them so the muffler doesn’t look lower? I went ahead and ordered new exhaust hangers as I’m afraid it’ll get lower and lower and it’ll end up dragging. Just curious to see if there’s a way to salvage/adjust the ones still on.
