Sorry I see no takers on this on since original post. I have not had to deal with this issue, Ford replaced this Bar under a TSB a few years ago.
Now at 197K I'm looking at a suspension rebuild and I'll probably be right there with you and that frustration.
My complaint is tire wear. Despite adding rear camber bolts and doing a full 4 wheel alignment, set rear camber to basically Zero or vertical, I continue to get inside tire wear. All looks good "static", I'm suspecting the tire wear is from worn bushings that allow for unwanted component movements, potential angle change like Toe, under load, like in a turn.
Spent some time looking at bushings and complete arms with bushings, now I'm wondering if just replacing bushings (if available) is even worth it.
I see some good looking parts on RockAuto even see some HD Mavotec parts available. Anyone have experience with Mavotecs parts?
