First is economy:
Last trip on I-10 in NWFL was 18.5 mpg. So I removed the load bars, so I have bare rails, and I added Seafoam to the tank (.5 oz/gal) and about 4 oz to the intake. It stalled before I could force a stall with a big Seafoam dump, so it was a little lean up top. Took it back out and got maybe 20.5 max. I was stuck behind a semi for awhile and drafting bumped the avg on the dash like 4 mpg, or confirmation this is just a big brick and lots of the work is pushing air. But 80K miles ago I could get 22. Best ever was 23.5 over a tank on I-20 across W Texas which was busy but steady. So exactly HOW did Ford get a rating of 24/hwy?
Second: The lower tailgate window trim weatherstripping is nearly gone. Is this replaceable? Is there a PN for it? Part of the window? Not happy that it couldn't even survive 12 years. Not to mention worry about water penetration into the tailgate and subsequent rust.
