'17 limited. lately I have been stepping into a complete dead battery after sitting about two days.
Battery is 6 months old and recharges without any problems. What I think is a problem is that I have a dashcam that plugs into the accessory outlet on the passenger side center consol. I keep forgetting to unplug that camera when getting home. Would a dashcam/rear cam be that much of a draw on the system? Is there an outlet that shuts down with the ignition? My old Chrysler had two separate outlets, one that stayed on and the other controlled with the ignition. How could I make that passenger side outlet into a controlled one?
Suggestions? Without putting a string on my finger of course
