The difference in the two is the one with a rain sensor has a bracket adhered to it that the sensor clips onto. The shading outline is also different and designed with a spot for the sensor to see through and detect the rain.
The non-rain sensing one has no bracket and the shading doesn't have an open spot for the sensor.
Your current sensor would not need to be replaced. The window tech would just swap it over the the new one with new sensor gel and attach it to the bracket.
So even if you bought the "non rain sensing" windshield and a new sensor it couldn't attach to the window.
When I bought my flex the previous owner had bought the wrong one and tucked the sensor up into the headliner above the mirror. When I replaced the windshield I had them install and calibrate the sensor.
It should be one of the questions they ask when you schedule, if it's rain sensing or not.
Most companies will also include the cost of new A-pillar trim as they will break the clips and trim taking them off.
