Bringing up an old thread...rather than start a new one.
Why did the 2019 ford flex not come with heated side mirrors? Does anyone know if there was wiring behind it by any chance to add a heated side mirror from a 2009-2013 Ford Flex?
I guess the issue would then be the fact that the blind spot warning would be blocked by the heated mirror sign, which kind of sucks that there wasn't one for the 2019 model.
Here's the back of the glass of the normal one with blind spot.
Here's the one with the heated. So really it's just the heated coil stuck to the glass. I guess the workaround would be to make it wired to work when the rear window heater is turned on?
