Boy I feel lucky. I took my 2014 FWD limited in for the rear tie rod recall this past summer and while I was there I mentioned that the front end seemed to be a bit “wobbly” while I was driving on a stone covered roadway, not trail off roading in any way.
My Flex is covered under a bumper to bumper Ford protect warranty and the Ford dealer called me that afternoon and confirmed that the front end was loose and out of spec like I saw. They replaced all the front end parts in your picture plus others with Ford OEM parts. With the Ford warranty I had they went looking for parts to replace that were even a bit out of tolerance. I was happy to let them do it. The bill for just the Ford parts was over $1500 plus the 8 hours of labor at $220/hour. My cost was zero. It was supposed to be a $100 deductible but they let that slide. It Included 4 wheel alignment as part of the warranty work. Car drives like it just left the showroom.
My only regret was they couldn’t find a reason to replace the front struts but I’m not sure if that would be considered a regular wear item with me bearing the cost.
