I ordered the Detroit Axle set for my MKT, only for them to arrive and find out they were actually the parts for the Taurus/MKS. The rear bushing bracket is different and that is important. The one you need is the one with the sticky-out part in the middle, the Taurus has it towards the bottom. Being local, I was able to take them back and determine that their system did not recognize the difference between the two. I think that is a bigger problem than just Detroit Axle, there might be some glitches in the system that could result in the wrong parts identified with other aftermaket companies as well.
In the end I ordered up a set of Motorcraft parts from Rock Auto.
And of course the clunking noise that I was hoping to fix with the control arm swap turned out to be the say bar links anyway.
