I've been finding the Flex randomly unlocked, Android Auto engaging my phone while I'm in the house or just walking past the car (I use the AA Wireless adapter), and some 12 volt battery issues. I also had a water intrusion issue which I posted about last month in the technical walk-thru section, and figured it was all related.
With the water issue resolved (I think) I am still fighting the unlock, and yesterday the car was going crazy. It's the dang key! And I was just about to order a replacement when I first thought better to open this one up and see what I see...

This fob was tapping out Unlock commands just by jiggling it.
Here's the annoying part: I can find a genuine new OEM FoMoCo key complete with electronics for less than $50, but all of the replacement cases (shell only, no electronics are north of $50). Lots of aftermarket pieces which I'm hesitant to purchase.
Maybe I ought to try a glue repair first.
