New: control arms, struts (with mounts and bearings), tie rods, sway bar links and bushings, axle.
Soft clunk over uneven roads before and after all of these.
Two things that haven't been addressed is AWD was towed on 2 wheels when fuel pump went. Put chassis ears all over transfer case but can't hear anything through mics, just in cabin.
Another thing is giant bubble on inner sidewall of LR tire (which may have been rotate also during all these repairs.
Put mics on engine mounts, frame bolts, transmission dogbone mount.
Exhaust Y pipe is also new (flex pipe broke) so those mounts are also new.
Drive shaft seems to have no play, also had mics on the center bearing
I'm missing something super dumb but can't find.
Prybars under wheels loaded and unloaded, no play.
Someone inside rocking steering wheel with car off and tires on ground, toe rods are super tight and no noise or play.
I can't duplicate the noise on a 2 post lift or drive on lift
Other shops machine gunned new parts (list at top). Everything installed correctly and noise did not change.
