How did you even get 4500 out of that? I asked ford about installing a hitch and they told me capacity would be 2000lbs. That’s absolutely useless for me to even bother spending almost $2,000 here in BC to maybe tow an uncomfortable toy trailer for camping. It was kind of annoying to find out, I asked them about upgrading the parts they said would be affected (cooler etc) and they said they didn’t know.Searching this forum I get conflicting towing capacity answers of a flex with factory row package. Without a wdh it seems
I can tow 2000 with a tongue weight of 200lb. But with wdh it increases to 4500 and a 450 lb tongue weight. But I’ve read of people towing 3000lb trailers without wdh over mountains.
Final answer is?
I can’t use a wdh with my tent trailer as it’s a c channel.
It took them a week to even find out the very little info I did get.
