Powertrain / Under The Hood • Easy way to disable the PTU or RDU temporarily?

My 2013 Flex AWD Ecoboost finally is stuttering on the PTU.

Is there a way to make it 2WD for a few weeks/months? Or do I just keep driving it until it blows up? LOL.
