Powertrain / Under The Hood • New muffler ?

I'm a fan of "quite power" like a factory exhaust sound, my 013 EB Flex has been spewing sound dampening hair for some time, now the exhaust note is notably louder.

What's our thoughts on mufflers? I'm guessing a new OE muffler would probably run up into the few hundred dollars with install

Vehicle performance is acceptable, sure I'd love a tune, but living in Kommefornia it's such a hassle with smog laws.

Thoughts?
