I have a 2010 flex SEL that just started at 60,000 miles. Fuel level and the fuel empty notice both dropping to zero within 4 miles after reading 113 miles to empty and it shut off just before the second tube of the Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel. Scary. Lucky for me a police man was right behind me and had the service vehicle put in 2 gallons of gas. When I started it up it read 144 miles to empty and about 1/3 tank. Does anyone know if Ford has figured this out yet. I drove straight to the gas station And it took 11.1 gallons read full and 370 miles until empty
Don't want to be told by the dealer that they have no clue . I've had this vehicle since 2010 brand new
