I had a 2010 SEL Ecoboost that I regretfully traded for a 2012 F150. Then I picked up a 2013 Flex Limited Ecoboost titanium, which I lost in a crash in 2014. Replaced that with an MKT, regretted it due to size changes and lack of room. That was traded off so the wife could have a new car, a 2015 Focus which we still have. I wound up with a 2014 F-150 RWD that I absolutely LOVED, then lost it in a crash in 2017. It got replaced with a 2016 F-150 that was a horrible POS that I sued Ford over and replaced it with a 2018 Platinum F-150 that was perfect. We had a Conventional Pull RV, which is why I didn't get another Flex. Things changed of course, we got a 5th wheel and started a farm so that went away to be replaced with an F-450. Of course that was when I wasn't driving to work every day, and at 14 MPG diesel is VERY expensive to drive 120 miles a day.

All the above to get to my point. I just picked up my MIL 2014 Flex Limited Ecoboost with 170K miles on it. It is in really good shape and I am in heaven again. I forgot how much I loved driving the Flex. Other than a slight rumble, which might be a bad U-joint, and the HVAC position motor needing to be replaced, everything works great. It gets 21 MPG which will help with travel expense, already saved $100 in fuel costs the past week alone. Feels good to be back in a Flex. Also proof that the Ecoboost can go a long ways with proper maintenance and not to be scared of high miles.
