I noticed yesterday, since I have the tach on the screen at the moment, that with cruise set to 45 MPH, the engine is bouncing 200 RPM. When doing 60 is appears stable. I am wondering if the lockup is cycling and not staying locked. I don't feel any slippage when shifting, and it's barely noticeable with the radio off. Between this and the thumping when accelerating, I wonder if the rear coupler needs to be replaced. Sometimes after making a turn and accelerating it feels like its bogging down and jerking but that would through a CEL if it were engine related, which I don't think this is.
