I have a 2018 Flex Limited Ecoboost. The front AC works fine at all times.
When I turn the rear AC on from the front console, it blows warm air out of the ceiling vents at all temperature settings until I set the temperature to max cold. Then the fan speeds way up, and the air switches from lukewarm to full cold. So the rear passengers either get warm air in their faces on hot days or a big blast of cold air. They are not very happy.
Has anyone else had this issue?
I am familiar with the blend door actuator problem up front, but this seems to be a control problem. The rear HVAC controls are one of my few complaints about this car.
Thanks.
