I've started having a similar issue recently with my 2009 Limited AWD. It's been driven to the moon (254,000) and I'm now working on driving it back
In my case, it's just the right headlamp that cuts out - so far. I don't know exactly how long into a drive this happens as I'm not doing city driving and don't therefor have "targets" to provide reflective feedback. But it certainly happens during my typical 30 minute commute because it will be off when I turn off the ignition and go take a look. The left headlamp stays on for about 10 seconds after switch off.
At first, I thought the bulb had burned out so I bought a new H13 at AutoZone. But I was totally stymied when I went to make the change-out.
How on Earth do you do this ??? My hand is too big to fit under the corner bracket over the headlight assembly.
