*****update on the Unicorn********
Status quo has been the rule up to now. Finally engine codes popped up but they quickly went away and were replaced with a miss fire on cylinder 6 along with drivability issues. We have noted poor fuel economy and smoke on start up previously. We have noted loss of oil and oil changes much sooner than necessary (2500 miles) all through out ownership. After the misfire, I pulled plugs and ran a bore scope down each cylinder. 5 of 6 showed carbon build up and plugs same. Cylinder number 1 was clean, with out carbon deposit. The high pressure injector was failing and now completely failed. Plug was wet with fuel. This is likely what was causing all our problems. The loss of oil was due to fuel dilution. Ordered a new injector (Bosch) and will update when parts are installed.
