Just bought 2016 Flex Limited AWD, 105K miles, very clean. Wife had a brand new 2010 Limited years ago, loved it until it left us in 2017. Rear camera works intermittently. Usually works on startup, usually does not work after vehicle has been driven a bit (as in go to the store, back in a parking space, camera not there, call your dealer message). It's definitely random, not predictable when camera will work.
When it works it's perfect so I have trouble believing it's the camera itself, feels like an electrical connection issue. I have looked all through this forum, see lots of folks replacing cameras but nothing noting whether the camera was actually the point of failure. Do these have a known connector issue or anything like that?
I did upgrade SYNC to 3.4 using CyanLabs, camera behavior is same before and after.
