The rear passenger side door lock on my 2017 Limited started to malfunction. The door would not close and I had to manually manipulate the latch to get it to do so. Then my granddaughter slammed it and now I can’t manipulate the latch. I took the door panel off and tried to get the latch too “raise up“ with no success. I need to replace the lock assembly and Ford apparently thinks I’m a millionaire because they want way too much money for this repair. Haven’t worked on my own cars for a lot of years. I’m 65 now, but I am trying to find a replacement lock at a reasonable price and find a video that will help me complete this repair. Any and all advice or leads would be greatly appreciated!
