My car is a 2018 Ecoboost. It is a great car for road trips, and the square shape makes it easy to maneuver and park. I have driven it cross country 3 times without incident, and it cruises at 80-85 with ease. So far, I have seen 2 blender door actuators fail in the HVAC system, and the water pump had to be replaced. The water pump is an $1,800 job I believe. 16 hours of labor. The dealer had the car for over 2 weeks due to the labor shortage here in LA. Other than that, it has been completely reliable. It is comfortable and fun to drive. The Ecoboost performance is impressive and nice to have when merging onto crowded freeways, etc. Negatives are the relatively low gas mileage and the limited range. I have never seen more than 22 MPG on the highway and get 16-17 around town. That means a lot of trips to the gas station. It could really use a 20 gallon gas tank. But that's it for the complaints. I find it a very compeling value proposition, and the back seat comfort is up there with the very best luxury vehicles. The leg room is outstanding.
