First change of the brake pads (front and rear) today on our 2019 Flex Ecoboost. I used the Ford parts (made by Akebono, by the markings). The rear pads were pretty worn out, but the front pads still had about 1/2 their life left. This is the first time I'm changing pads on our Flex - at 95,700 miles! To be fair, we've done a lot of highway driving with it since we purchased it in June of 2020.
I replaced the cabin air filter, too - looks like that was long overdue!That is the original cabin air filter on the left. The replacement is a TYC 800151C - I'll probably look for the Ford part or a Mahle or something with more pleats the next time I replace it (and that will be a lot sooner than this original one was in there ![:forehead:]( "Smack Forehead")
). At least I've replaced the engine air filter at a much more regular interval ![:D]( "Very Happy")
