Holy crap , it does, BUT, is it as comfortable and roomy inside? Hyundai/Kia have a habit of copying other companies cars. The Hyundai Veracruz was nearly identical to the Lexus. Would be nice if the Santa Fe were as close in dimensions as the Flex.Probably been posted already but Holy smokes does the new Santa fe look like an updated flex
Got 181K and climbing and it STILL drives like a new one. I do notice an occasional clacking on cold start up, not always, just occasionally, which I believe is the timing chain. I think when the engine is stopped with some slack in the chain is when it clicks when starting. After I finish working on my wifes Focus, which I want to call the fucus2me with how it has cost a small fortune to replace the clutch. I bought the tools, the clutch kit, got it apart, stripped the threads on a half shaft with a nut that apparently has been removed one too many times, and found it needs brakes all around, then discovered too late there were shipping clips that had to be removed, which required me to reset the clutch so had to get those tools, and then the clutch wouldn't release properly, breaking a fork in the process so had to buy another clutch and fork set, and then an engine hoist because the transmission wouldn't stay on the jack and not enough room to use a trans jack.
Still turns out to be cheaper than having it done for $1800. LOL So going to start ordering the chain set and water pump and locking tools along with gaskets and stuff so that I can work on the Flex and get another 180K out of it. My goal is to reach 300K on the original engine and trans, so far, so good.
