I completed the swap of the lower portion of the steering shaft on my 2012 SEL. I used the steering shaft for a 2009, part number BE9Z-3B676-B. I also used a new Steering Shaft to Rack Bolt, part number -W712961-S439.
The swap went fine. It does take a decent tug to get the upper and lower steering shaft separated.
