But there is No coolant in the oil, or any other symptom of bad head gasket. I haven't messed with it much since this post, because I'm beyond tired of throwing parts at this thing (lol but crying on the inside), but... Doesn't seem to over heat until you get it up over 2500-3600 rpm, also hasn't overflowed the resiviour since day one, but also don't have any heat until about 2000 rpm... I've flushed the heater core, and just let it run to get air out of the system. It's almost like the system isn't getting hot enough for the thermostat to open... Idk... Thinking about buying a 160 or 170 degree thermostat but don't know. Also.... The dash temp gauge seems to go from overheating to operational temp in literally a few seconds. Example: I took it out to an old back road straight stretch to see if it would overheat, well as soon as I got to 3500 rpm it started to, I got it up to right before the light comes on, and from the time it took to slow down turn on my turn signal to turn into a pull off, and then actually turn into the pull off the temp gauge was normal. I love this car, but this problem is driving me nuts!
