No guarantee, but I found a Bissell product that is made for animal stains. It is called Oxy Stink and Stain. FYI, when my ft ps side got a carpet leak it cleaned the water stain plus removed the mildew smell!
So far I have used it on carpets, clothes, antique/vintage fabric, and more I have forgotten.
1st, make sure you do a very small test spot. If you get no damage, use the spray part of the nozzle. Allow it to sit a short period and test the area. It will dry and you can determine if it removed part or all of the stain. The cloth you use the time to wipe the area sprayed needs to be squeezed out so that it is moist. (YOU don't needed more water stains).
Gentle, a ceiling liner is delicate and the glue it is easily removed.
I used an Oxy Stain remover on my Ford Explorer years ago. It was a 3 time cleaning but the mildew smell was never completely gone.
And, BTW, the Flex has another appointment next Thursday. The blower went out this morning. The last time the blower went the water was in the ft ps carpet area. It was in the 80's and I had been using the AC. I used the Bissell cleaner on the carpet when it was "repaired " on all mildew was removed.
Hope this works for your stain.
Now to figure out what is causing blower motor failure and interior water leak!
