I know that this is an old post, but I have to say thank you. By far, this is the worst repair job that I’ve done on any car!! My extension broke before I could get started and my 90 degree was too fat to fit. My knuckles and back are going to be sore for days, but if it had not been for this post, I would have give up and suffered through the Texas heat with only the defroster working.
Just completed this and it was a pita. YH1769 was correct on 14 flex limited for the vent selector actuator located behind the instrument cluster. This is the one I need to swap if the climate control is stuck on defrost mode.
