I think it's probably doable, I have not done this myself, but I've been inside the engine bay a lot.
My guess where you may have an issue is once both axels are out, radiator and facia is off, separating the transmission from the engine and torque converter may be a PITA.
If this has been done before, probably one of our forum members has done it !!
Funny just tonight I was thinking how much trouble and $$ it would be to drop in an rebuilt tranny and how much fun it would be to rebuild & blueprint an engine with some portwork and new turbos ...
I figure spending 10-12K on an engine and tranny rebuild/swap would far out weigh buying another car, just don't know what other car I'd want that has the same "Flex-a-peal"![😆]()
